Job Summary

Join EquipmentShare as a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) at our Las Vegas facility to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, aerial lifts, and tools. You’ll diagnose issues, order parts, track service intervals, train junior technicians, and use laptops/tablets to manage work orders in a safety-conscious, data-driven environment.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using data from hundreds of makes/models.
•Maintain safe job practices for repairing equipment and keep paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.
•Repair and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment; exercise independent judgment.
•Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
•Assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts; ensure OSHA requirements (preferred); participate in year-round OEM training.
