Key Responsibilities

  • •Own feature development and roll out for Sentry Tower products, including SITL/HITL, security requirements, sensor integrations, robotic arm APIs, and build system improvements.
  • •Design, evaluate, and implement software supporting operation by both human and autonomous planning agents.
  • •Provide service ownership to ensure functionality, reliability, and alignment with customer objectives through effective communication and a result-oriented mindset.
  • •Submit well-documented, tested pull requests addressing critical team issues and negotiate system design trade-offs.
  • •Architecture and scale custom real-time communication and middleware systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency navigating robotics system stack, integrating sensors, compute, and actuation, or deep expertise in low-level software and hardware interfacing.
  • •4+ years working with Rust or C++.
  • •Strong networking principles (CAN and Ethernet protocols) plus expertise in hardware interfacing and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, CANoe), with cyber security principles for secure sensor data transmission.
  • •Demonstrated experience designing and building software solutions for high-volume data processing and sophisticated sensor data analysis.
  • •Experience with modern build systems (e.g., Nix, CMake) and setting up CI/CD pipelines; strong engineering background in areas like Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
