Job Summary

Design, develop, and test software applications that support enterprise GIS solutions, resolving day-to-day incidents to maintain service integrity. Build and integrate systems by consuming, transforming, and updating data between platforms. Collaborate with business partners to define application needs, document requirements, and provide technical leadership to Applications Developers. Train end users, create system/infrastructure diagrams, and support troubleshooting across GIS infrastructure, web services, and spatial database technologies.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in the design, development, testing of software applications and resolve day-to-day incidents to ensure service integrity.
•Consume, transform, and update data between two or more systems using integration software.
•Consult with business partners to identify software needs and analyze requests for changes or modifications, recommending designs to meet requirements.
•Write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications; prepare system, context, and infrastructure diagrams.
•Assist, mentor, and provide technical direction to Applications Developers and other IT staff to support maintenance, SLAs, user training, and reporting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, plus 4 years designing/developing/supporting Esri GIS solutions.
•Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online environments.
•Strong experience developing GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
•Experience supporting enterprise GIS infrastructure, web services, and diagnosing/resolving complex GIS application and infrastructure issues.
•Knowledge of spatial databases and SQL development; experience using Jira and Git in GIS software development.
