Job Summary

Build and evolve the cloud infrastructure architecture behind ByteDance’s global AI infrastructure and cloud supply chain systems. Partner with business operations to forecast load and plan medium- and long-term capacity, improve platform modules through automation, and define resource governance rules. Work with internal and external manufacturers on architecture evolution and NPI/architecture replacement mechanisms, and run resource architecture reviews to support availability, cost, and optimization goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with business operations to forecast load and resource needs, analyze business behaviors and data trends, and adjust resource planning and architecture layouts for medium- and long-term needs.
•Improve the maturity of platform modules by addressing resource layout, fulfillment, and management issues using automation and engineering, and define capacity and management rules.
•Develop architecture evolution plans with internal and external manufacturers, including medium- and long-term NPI introduction and architecture replacement mechanisms.
•Conduct special resource architecture reviews for top businesses based on resource inventory.
•Identify business resource architecture dependencies and help businesses spot real-time opportunities for architecture optimization across resources, availability, and cost.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in a computer-related field with familiarity in information/communication technology and computer architecture (e.g., operating systems, networks, databases).
•3+ years of experience working in Cloud Service and AI Infrastructure.
•Ability to systematically solve problems, with good communication skills and a strong sense of ownership and teamwork.
•Familiarity with Cloud Service and AI infrastructure, including container technology and microservice architecture (preferred).
•Familiarity with mainstream product design principles and implementation architectures across different cloud computing vendors (preferred).
