Key Responsibilities

  • •Own critical parts of WHOOP’s next-generation hardware products.
  • •Design, prototype, and test complex mechanical components from concept through manufacturing release.
  • •Develop and present multiple design solutions, documenting design process and specifications.
  • •Create technical documentation including 3D files, 2D drawings, BOMs, and ECOs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • •2+ years designing complex mechanical products, preferably for consumer electronics, wearables, or medical devices.
  • •Experience with SolidWorks CAD best practices, including advanced assemblies, complex surfacing, configuration management, and DFx feedback.
  • •Hands-on operation of rapid prototyping tools to create proof-of-concept models.
  • •Experience with validation testing/ statistical analysis tools and high-volume manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal, metal injection molding) preferred.
