Job Summary

Lead software development for real-time air and/or space systems within the Phantom Works Open Architecture Systems Integrated Software (OASIS) Solutions team. Own and maintain software architecture, translate system requirements into software models with traceability, and define integration contracts and data/message definitions. Drive Agile delivery as software delivery lead, manage DevSecOps/CI/CD practices, ensure testability (unit/component/integration, SIL/HIL), track delivery metrics, and coach engineers to improve predictability and quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and maintain software architecture, focusing on interface clarity, stability, and versioning to minimize integration risk.
•Translate system-level requirements into software requirements and models with clear traceability across design, code, and test artifacts.
•Lead Agile delivery for the software team (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews/retrospectives) and remove impediments to flow.
•Define and enforce software integration contracts (ICDs or living artifacts), data models, and message definitions in coordination with Integration & Test and Systems leads.
•Lead DevSecOps and CI/CD practices: ensure repeatable builds, automated testing, artifact traceability, consistent deployments, and drive verification/validation with SIL/HIL test artifacts.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree.
•Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship (active within the past 24 months is considered active).
•5+ years leading efforts translating requirements into system architecture, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications.
•Experience as an Agile Systems or Software Development Team Lead.
•5+ years each with DevSecOps lifecycle and DevOps/CI/CD (e.g., Git, Jenkins), plus configuration management and collaboration tools (e.g., Git, JIRA, Collaborator, Beyond Compare, VersionOne).
