Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the end-to-end test campaign lifecycle: transform laboratory test requests into detailed laboratory test instructions, execute real-time tests, perform deferred-time data analysis, write formal test reports, and manage problem reports through resolution.
  • •Execute and support complex demonstration-phase test campaigns, including functional tests, electrical failure mode tests (e.g., short circuits and arc-flashes), and altitude environmental emulation up to 55,000 feet while making real-time decisions to protect facility and specimen integrity.
  • •Configure and validate sensor acquisition chains and instrumentation (current/voltage transformers, Rogowski coils, oscilloscopes, high-speed cameras, temperature sensors) prior to test execution.
  • •Export and exploit post-test data using NI DIAdem and MATLAB toolsets to run fast analysis and parameter processing for rapid iterations and engineering hypothesis validation.
  • •Maintain laboratory logbooks, document test results and anomaly analysis, and track/manage test bench configuration control (hardware setups, sensor chains, and bench software configurations).

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 10 years of hands-on test campaign execution, system verification & validation, and laboratory testing in electrical systems for aerospace, automotive, or industrial environments.
  • •Strong expertise executing the full test lifecycle end-to-end for electrical systems.
  • •High proficiency with test support control systems and data exploitation tools, ideally NI TestStand/DIAdem and MATLAB (or equivalents).
  • •Ability to configure instrumentation and sensor acquisition chains (e.g., current/voltage transformers, Rogowski coils, oscilloscopes, high-speed cameras, temperature sensors) and troubleshoot test setups.
  • •Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
