Job Summary

Design, build, and operate backend services for a next-generation geospatial platform, delivering reliable, scalable, and secure APIs, data pipelines, and microservices. You will develop REST and GraphQL services, optimize relational and NoSQL databases, implement authentication and secure access controls, and drive CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and monitoring. Collaborate with front-end developers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver end-to-end mission-critical workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
•Design, build, and support REST and GraphQL APIs with strong documentation, versioning, and security practices.
•Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
•Build scalable cloud-native applications using microservices, event-driven architectures, containers, and messaging systems.
•Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, container orchestration, and monitoring solutions.

Key Requirements

•5+ years developing production backend applications and services.
•Strong expertise in Python and Python backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
•Experience designing and building REST and GraphQL APIs with security and documentation/versioning practices.
•Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including database schema design and performance optimization.
•Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
