Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design.
  • •Deliver and present updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
  • •Review proposed design changes and new technologies, and prepare estimates within accuracy levels.
  • •Provide commercial input into design optioneering and value engineering exercises, including cash commit forecasts across the construction life cycle.
  • •Analyze labor markets and cost drivers and deliver life cycle costing models and benchmarking for accurate data capture.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a construction-related field.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction cost management roles such as estimating, cost engineering, or project cost controls.
  • •Experience working in a construction cost management role supporting program-level cost management for medium or large-scale construction projects.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including value management and value engineering.
  • •Advanced level of English and strong communication skills for client-facing work with international clients.
