Job Summary

Lead the central Automated Systems Group (ASG) responsible for supporting and advancing the facility’s automation and operational technology (OT) systems. Own 24/7 Level 1 support, oversee Level 2 systems (HMIs, data exchange, control interfaces), and manage real-time data acquisition, analytics, and camera/NVR assets. Guide automation projects end-to-end, enforce technical standards, address obsolescence with sustainable upgrade plans, and coordinate OT network security, patching, and resilience with local IT.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead day-to-day automation support for critical facility systems and processes to ensure uninterrupted machine safety and production.
•Manage 24/7 automation support with an emphasis on zero downtime, including Level 1 and Level 2 operations (HMIs and related control interfaces).
•Plan, execute, and document automation projects from concept through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
•Oversee real-time data acquisition and analytics platforms, along with facility camera and NVR systems.
•Manage direct reports and external resources, enforce automation technical standards, and coordinate OT network infrastructure, patching, and secure, resilient operation.

Key Requirements

•Manage resources and budgets in an industrial environment.
•Apply industrial automation platforms such as Studio 5000, FactoryTalk development, and Siemens TIA Portal.
•Use industrial network and OT communication protocols, including Profinet, ModbusTCP, Ethernet/IP, and custom TCP/IP.
•Manage end-to-end automation projects from start to finish.
•Have high-speed, real-time data acquisition, analytics, and dashboarding systems experience.
