Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic advisory leadership on dry utilities planning across power and telecommunication systems from feasibility through concept and pre-design stages.
  • •Translate land use, density, development mix, and phasing into high-level power/telecom infrastructure strategies and spatial reservations.
  • •Define planning-level network architectures, including substation allocation and corridor alignments, aligned to master planning and framework plan stages.
  • •Assess grid connection options, reinforcement needs, and interface risks, aligning utility strategy with sequencing and long-term capacity.
  • •Lead demand forecasting and capacity planning and support renewable energy generation/storage integration at district or city scale; prepare and review conceptual/masterplan-level layout plans and advise clients through reports and workshops.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • •10+ years’ experience in electrical spatial planning and utility master planning for city-scale or large development programs.
  • •Capability across HV/MV/LV planning and design, including substations, distribution networks, and grid interfaces.
  • •Experience preparing/reviewing master planning-level utility layouts, spatial diagrams, and concept schematics.
  • •Track record delivering feasibility studies, demand forecasting, and planning-level assessments, with strong client-facing and multidisciplinary team/workstream experience.
