Job Summary

Perform sanitation for a bakery production plant during the 6:00 PM–6:00 AM shift, following safety, SQF, and GMP requirements. Document and track production and sanitation variables, run and control CIP cycles, and troubleshoot/calibrate CIP equipment. Clean processing, packaging, and casing equipment and production floor areas between cycles, conduct chemical tests to meet quality and FDA standards, and coordinate with associates across shifts while meeting sanitation schedules.

•Follow company safety procedures with a focus on zero injuries.
•Prepare and run CIP cycles by changing piping, controlling valves, and responding to CIP alarms.
•Record sanitation activities, temperatures, concentrations, and sanitation events accurately.
•Inspect and clean production, processing, packaging, and casing equipment between production cycles.
•Clean production floor and surface areas, obtain sanitation chemicals as needed, perform chemical tests, and coordinate with other shift associates.

Key Requirements

•Experience working in a production, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
•Follow and comply with Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

•Troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, monitor, and inspect CIP equipment and generate work orders as needed.
•Lift and carry up to 50 lbs and meet essential physical and mental requirements for sanitation work.
