Key Responsibilities

  • •Own day-to-day production and quality functions for a team of medical coders to meet client accuracy and productivity goals.
  • •Plan, direct, supervise, and evaluate coder feedback workflows and coordinate team activities across coding staff.
  • •Assign accurate diagnosis and CPT codes to medical records using ICD-10 and CPT-4 according to coding standards.
  • •Code outpatient and/or inpatient records to meet minimum accuracy and turnaround time requirements.
  • •Monitor continuous improvement efforts, participate in coding education and meetings, and prepare status reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate in Life Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Zoology, or Microbiology discipline.
  • •2+ years of industry experience.
  • •CPC (Certified Coding Professional) or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist).
  • •Experience in specialties such as Inpatient, E&M, Ambulatory, Surgery, and ED.
  • •Exposure to CPT-4 and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and ability to code records to client requirements.
