Job Summary

Lead a team of Technical Program Managers and Program Managers to deliver Stripe’s most complex, cross-cutting risk programs. Own multi-year vision and strategy for company-wide initiatives, define success criteria, build delivery plans, and manage risks to ensure safe execution at scale. Improve how teams communicate and operate to boost productivity and efficiency, while hiring, coaching, and growing TPM talent across locations.

Key Responsibilities

•Build, lead, and manage high-performing teams and individuals across multiple locations, including performance reviews and ongoing feedback.
•Define and deliver long-term vision and multi-year strategy for company-wide programs in partnership with product management and engineering leadership/executives.
•Define success criteria, delivery plans, and risk tracking to ensure successful execution of the Risk organization’s most complex programs.
•Improve team communication and operating practices to significantly increase productivity and efficiency.
•Act as a hands-on TPM for the most complex initiatives requiring your leadership.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of management experience, including managing managers.
•8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
•Extensive experience finding and growing talent through coaching, mentoring, and career development.
•Experience driving technical programs from ideation to delivery at scale, including leading Technical Program Managers.
•Experience operating autonomously and leading across multiple teams with stakeholders in different disciplines and time zones.
