Senior Manager – Social Media & Influence leads Social@Ogilvy's social and influencer offering in Kuala Lumpur, owning senior client partnerships, driving the strategic vision for key social accounts, and contributing to business development and agency growth. Key Responsibilities

•Business Growth & New Business Pitches: Key person in response teams for major social and influencer RFPs, designing winning pitches and presenting social-first integrated ideas.
•Client Partnership & Strategic Counsel: Act as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders, lead quarterly business reviews and strategy workshops, and brief clients on macro social shifts.
•Partner Network & Operational Excellence: Define and optimize collaborative processes between Social@Ogilvy, Content Studio, PR, and Creative teams; cultivate platform partnerships with Meta, TikTok, and Google.
•Influencer Practice Leadership & Strategy: Define the agency’s approach to influencer marketing, champion on-going brand ambassador models, and drive platforms/tools adoption and ROI measurement.
•Team Empowerment & Culture: Set training curricula for the social team and nurture talent across all levels to drive retention and professional growth.

Key Requirements

•7–8+ years of industry experience in social media, digital marketing, or influencer relations (with at least 4 years in a leading agency environment).
•Strong understanding of agency business models, scoping, pricing, and overall project/account profitability.
•Proven track record of leading and winning high-value new business pitches.
•Outstanding capability to translate business challenges into culture-shaping, social-first and influencer-led creative campaigns.
•Exceptional leadership who can guide, inspire, and keep a multi-layered team focused and motivated under tight deadlines.
