Job Summary

Lead Inflection AI’s Safety, Wellbeing & Trust program in Ireland as the company’s first hire there. Own end-to-end content and safety enforcement, incident escalation, and the governance and risk frameworks that support AI safety, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Serve as operational lead for GDPR and EU regulations like the EU AI Act and Digital Services Act, including coordination with the Irish Data Protection Commission and building Ireland’s compliance documentation and office operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Own global content and safety enforcement end to end, including misuse detection and response, case resolution, and escalation protocols.
•Act as the senior escalation point and incident lead for complex safety, integrity, reputational, and operational issues.
•Build internal governance and risk frameworks for AI safety, content moderation, and platform integrity in partnership with Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, Policy, and Operations.
•Serve as operational lead for GDPR and broader regulatory compliance including the EU AI Act and Digital Services Act, including coordination with the Irish Data Protection Commission.
•Direct how the company processes EU personal data and build and maintain Ireland’s compliance documentation while helping stand up and scale the Ireland office.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: EUR 150,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in trust & safety operations, privacy/data protection, regulatory compliance, corporate compliance, or a combination of these fields.
•Significant experience enforcing on highly graphic or disturbing content in sensitive areas such as child sexual exploitation, hate/defamation, sex crimes, violence, suicide/self-harm, or mental health.
•Strong program management skills to drive complex, cross-functional workstreams independently from scoping through execution.
•Experience developing and implementing proactive risk management frameworks, escalation protocols, and crisis management playbooks.
•Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions and regulations including GDPR, EU AI Act, and Digital Services Act (or cross-border data transfer mechanisms).
