Job Summary

Support the Regional Senior Inventory Accounting Manager in transforming the finance organization by owning transactional inventory accounting activities. You will handle IFRS/US GAAP and statutory inventory accounting, FIFO/LIFO/LCM valuation, product costing, inventory adjustments, flux analysis, and GRIR management. Deliver transaction services, perform month-end closing and reconciliations, implement desk procedures, and execute SOX controls while driving process improvements for the regional team.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver efficient transaction services in line with corporate policies and legislative requirements.
•Support and back up inventory accounting activities for other team members.
•Perform accounting procedures to ensure inventory balances, including month-end closing and account reconciliations.
•Manage inventory valuation (FIFO/LIFO/LCM), product costing, inventory adjustments, inventory flux analysis, and GRIR.
•Implement and maintain desk procedures and perform SOX controls while supporting process improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Education as a qualified accountant, apprenticeship in economics, or a bachelor’s degree in accounting (or similar).
•At least 3 years of relevant experience in inventory accounting/cost accounting.
•At least 3 years of SAP experience (CO, MM and FI).
•Fluent in English and able to work according to US GAAP/statutory accounting rules.
•Ability to plan closing tasks on time, analyze problems quickly, and support process improvements.
