Financial Crime Team Manager, Merchant Acquiring, Business Banking

Lead a team in Monzo’s Merchant Acquiring Financial Crime Customer Operations function, protecting the business banking portfolio from fraud, money laundering, and other financial crime. Manage and coach ~12 investigators, provide technical guidance on KYB, merchant due diligence, card scheme compliance, and investigations, and drive quality control across the full merchant lifecycle. Monitor service levels, escalate suspicious activity and risk events, and improve team performance through reporting and continuous learning.
