Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and deliver electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities across power distribution, control systems, communications networks, lighting, fire alarms, and security.
  • •Perform engineering analysis and system studies including arc flash, short circuits, coordination studies, lifecycle assessments, and construction cost estimates.
  • •Prepare proposals, technical memoranda, design reports, and detailed electrical specifications.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 114,600 - 151,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of electrical consulting design experience in the industrial sector, with preference for water and wastewater experience.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng designation in BC or Alberta.
  • •Expertise in low- and medium-voltage systems including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and VFDs.
  • •Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower for power system studies.
  • •Knowledge of industrial automation and communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, DeviceNet) and relevant codes/standards.
