Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead CNC changeovers between production runs on various CNC machines (mills and lathes).
  • •Perform part changeovers and retrieve and input CNC programs required for setup.
  • •Establish work offsets (e.g., G54, G55) manually and using probing technology.
  • •Calculate and input CNC axis coordinates (up to 3 axes) or determine offsets using a spindle probe.
  • •Use GD&T results to make adjustments to work offsets and ensure quality parts from the work cell.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution, or an Associate's degree or higher in a machining/manufacturing-related discipline.
  • •Minimum two (2) years of experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • •Minimum one (1) year of experience setting up CNC lathes and/or mills.
  • •Able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches with proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • •Able to perform basic shop math and demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
