Key Responsibilities

  • •Enhance compiler performance by investigating bottlenecks in memory allocation, PGO/LTO/BOLT, and hot function optimizations, collaborating across teams to improve build times and developer productivity
  • •Maintain and expand multi-OS and multi-architecture support (Windows, Android; X86_64, ARM64; potential RISCV) including CI, debugging, and profiling tools
  • •Develop and maintain custom toolchains on macOS and Windows; ensure seamless integration with Xcode and VSCode; explore deployment for alternative toolchains and cross-compilation support
  • •Advance cross-language interoperability between Swift, C/C++, and Java/Kotlin to improve Windows and Android app development experiences
  • •Contribute upstream to LLVM, Swift, and related projects; impact the wider developer community through open-source work

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 295,000 - 350,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience working with language compilers and complex codebases (e.g., LLVM); experience with Swift and/or C++ preferred
  • •Familiarity with one of our operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS) is preferred but not required
  • •Strong interest in build systems, tooling, and improving developer workflows
  • •Pragmatic, problem-solving mindset; comfortable working in a startup environment with quick validation cycles
  • •At least 4 hours of overlap with team members in Eastern Time Zone; alignment with company values
