•Unify dozens-to-hundreds of fragmented systems into a single standard, covering data models, authentication, and UX features like filters and pagination.
•Integrate with on-prem SQL/API systems and support real-time communication and webhooks when APIs are not available.
•Operate at scale—handle millions of API requests per day using efficient data storage, retrieval, and caching layers to reduce latency.
•Deliver a reliable API layer enforced by SLAs, expanding integration coverage while improving development velocity.
•Build both back-end and front-end applications that use the team’s own APIs, and create scalable testing frameworks to catch edge cases across many endpoints.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Back-end/full-stack engineering experience, ideally 1–4 years (open to exceptional college grads with strong intern/co-op experience).
•Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, e.g., AWS.
•High ownership and self-motivation in a fast-paced, intense, collaborative team.
•If in the Bay Area, ability to work in-person in SF 5 days/week (remote optional for candidates outside the Bay Area).
•No need for prior experience with the company’s tech stack or a B2B SaaS/API company.
