Key Responsibilities

  • •Reinforce didactic content by teaching nursing knowledge and skills for pre-licensure students.
  • •Collaborate with nursing content faculty to provide expert evaluation and documentation of student progress toward clinical objectives.
  • •Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
  • •Remain current with trends and developments in OB nursing practice.
  • •Travel to GCU student sites to directly observe student performance during scheduled clinical rotations and labs, and support accreditation compliance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 50 - 70 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •BSN required (with enrollment in a GCU MSN Leadership or MSN Education program paid by GCU) or BSN with proof of graduate credits or approved national certification related to the content area.
  • •Minimum of 2 years of recent OB nursing work experience with an MSN.
  • •An active, current, unencumbered, multi-state (compact) RN license.
  • •Must successfully pass a drug test and competency testing.
  • •Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.
