Job Summary

Deliver L3 field support for IT/telecom systems across Düsseldorf/NRW (Region West). Install and maintain customer systems, diagnose and repair issues both remote and on-site, and handle configuration and data backups. Work with networking gear (routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN/access points) and support data-center environments, while ensuring service quality, producing technical/business documentation, and participating in on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform installation and ongoing support for IT/telecom systems and applications.
•Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix system errors both remotely and on-site.
•Configure, maintain, and handle data backup for supported systems.
•Troubleshoot and configure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN/access points) and address data-center environment incidents.
•Ensure quality/service standards, provide remote support escalation for Level 1–2 engineers, and create technical/business documentation.

Key Requirements

•Completed training as Fachinformatiker Systemintegration or comparable qualification.
•Several years of experience in a similar position.
•Strong knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent Unified Communication & Collaboration and hands-on manufacturer experience.
•Ideally ACFE or ACSE certification (Alcatel-Lucent).
•Experience configuring network devices (routers, switches) and practical networking experience (including data center/structured cabling).
