Key Responsibilities

  • •Set and continuously refine go-forward technical direction for CI, CD, Plan, and source code experiences aligned with architectural initiatives.
  • •Translate company-wide productivity, quality, and AI-native engineering goals into actionable roadmaps for Core DevOps.
  • •Define measurable success criteria for availability, latency, pipeline success, test reliability, data correctness, and defect escape rate; hold designs to the bar.
  • •Maintain visibility into systemic technical risk and drive a prioritized plan to retire it, including convergence on shared patterns and libraries.
  • •Lead complex technical decisions hands-on (code, prototypes, proofs of concept), author design documents/decision records, review critical merge requests, and participate in incident management on-call.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior technical leadership role.
  • •Deep expertise in AI and ML systems, including large language models and agentic frameworks at production scale.
  • •Proven experience leading hands-on technical experimentation with evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and translating results into architecture decisions.
  • •Strong background in scalable multi-tenant distributed systems, including fault tolerance, observability, and operational resilience.
  • •Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction across multiple teams or divisions without direct authority.
