Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide credit analysis and support the preparation of credit proposals for a defined portfolio across Corporate and/or Financial Institutions clients.
  • •Partner with CIB Relationship Managers and credit stakeholders to manage day-to-day credit risk activities including new money and renewals.
  • •Serve as an onshore credit risk support point for coverage teams to improve turnaround times and reduce touchpoints.
  • •Monitor management information and portfolio developments to identify emerging risks, required actions, and business opportunities.
  • •Ensure quality and timely delivery against renewal timelines, KPIs, and governance expectations while adhering to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of banking experience in business and credit risk analysis.
  • •Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to consolidate complex information and clearly articulate risks and mitigants.
  • •Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional European language skills are an advantage.
  • •Working knowledge of IFRS (and ideally local GAAP), with confidence interpreting financial statements and credit drivers.
  • •Good understanding of banking products (e.g., lending/credit and treasury products), including key structural risks and terms and conditions.
