Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide engineering assessment on issues stopping production.
  • •Optimize production process by designing efficient systems and ensuring quality of assembled products.
  • •Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes to designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
  • •Identify and implement opportunities to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, and product design/materials.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, implement new processes/design iterations, deploy new technology on the manufacturing line, and adhere to EHS practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • •Knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes and the creation of process sheets, work instructions, or assembly manuals.
  • •Experience in a manufacturing environment using modelled engineering data and configuration control through a PLM system.
  • •Understanding of materials and tolerances for components and assemblies.
  • •At least a year in the current position; must not have had a disciplinary case within the past year or be under a Performance Improvement Plan.
