Job Summary

Cyber Security Specialist (GRC) to manage and improve governance, risk management and compliance for a Defence client. Develop and enforce security policies, perform risk assessments, implement controls, and monitor security events to protect digital assets. Onsite at HMAS Watson with potential hybrid work locations in Sydney area.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and frameworks per regulatory requirements.
•Perform regular security audits and assessments to identify gaps and improve controls.
•Identify cyber security risks and implement effective security controls across Governance, Risk and Compliance.
•Conduct vulnerability management and threat detection to safeguard assets.
•Monitor and analyze security event logs and maintain Cyber Security Assessment and Accreditation documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, information technology, or related field.
•5+ years of cyber security risk management, policy development or governance experience.
•Strong knowledge of security audits, documentation development, vulnerability management and security event monitoring.
•Ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance and Australian citizenship.
•Onsite work at HMAS Watson, Watson's Bay (with hybrid option for Homebush, NSW)
