Job Summary

Manage reinsurance placement for complex client accounts by understanding coverage needs, collecting and analyzing risk-transfer information, and maintaining data in Aon’s IT systems. Assist senior brokers on renewals, resolve client and reinsurer queries, and advise on placement design, coverage, capacity, pricing, and improvements. Negotiate pricing and capacity, ensure documentation meets regulatory and client requirements, and collaborate across London and the US while building market relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand clients’ coverage needs and collect/analyze information to support risk transfer solutions.
•Populate and maintain data within Aon’s IT systems.
•Assist more senior brokers on renewals for complex accounts and resolve client/reinsurer queries.
•Review and check reinsurance/insurance documentation to ensure it satisfies client requirements and standards (e.g., regulatory).
•Market endorsements and renewals, advise on placement design/coverage/capacity/pricing, negotiate best prices and capacity, and collaborate with client teams across London and the US.

Key Requirements

•Proven technical competence and strong experience in the reinsurance/insurance industry.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences.
•Strong interpersonal and team-working skills; confident working with clients and the market in varied situations.
•Demonstrate competence in business and financial matters.
•Demonstrate strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, including electronic trading for placement.
