Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain Electrical BIM models in Autodesk Revit from concept/design development through IFC stages.
  • •Model and coordinate Electrical systems (e.g., small power, lighting, containment, fire alarm, earthing & lightning protection, equipment/panel layouts, cable tray and distribution).
  • •Prepare Electrical layouts, schematics, schedules, sections, and construction/IFC documentation.
  • •Interpret drawings/specifications/markups and accurately translate design intent into BIM models, including self-checks and QA/QC before submission.
  • •Coordinate Electrical services with HVAC, PHE, ELV, architectural, structural, and other disciplines; identify and resolve clashes with Navisworks and Revizto, and support multidisciplinary coordination meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
  • •8–10+ years of relevant Electrical BIM/Revit experience (preferred).
  • •Strong hands-on expertise in Autodesk Revit MEP – Electrical and understanding of Electrical design/BIM workflows.
  • •Proficiency in Navisworks and Revizto for coordination and clash resolution.
  • •Demonstrated independent working as a Senior Electrical Modeler, including mentoring junior BIM team members; Middle East and Data Center experience is highly desirable.
