Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently conduct site inspections in the selected discipline.
  • •Review design information, tolerances, and agreed methods of working.
  • •Assess test procedures and recorded results for compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice.
  • •Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance and report issues clearly to senior team members.
  • •Produce site observation reports and commissioning documentation, coordinate with contractors’ commissioning teams, and maintain daily diaries of site activities and decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a MEP / building services engineering degree (e.g., BSc Mechanical Engineering or BSc Building Services Engineering).
  • •Alternatively, have an MEP / building services engineering college diploma (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent) with relevant experience.
  • •Alternatively, have a college/trade certificate (e.g., ONC/OND or OND equivalent; ONC/OND; or City & Guilds) with relevant experience.
  • •Minimum 5+ years job-related experience with an engineering degree, or 6+ years with a college diploma, or 7+ years with a college/trade certificate.
  • •Experience with data centers is essential, and industry accreditations (e.g., Incorporated Engineer, CSA Grade 4, commissioning certifications such as BCA/ACG/NEBB) are desirable but not essential.
