Job Summary

Own the definition-to-release-to-manufacturing design of PMIC analog sub-sections and IP, selecting switching converter architectures (buck/boost/buck-boost, inverting buck-boost, SIMO) to maximize efficiency, transient performance, and IDDQ. Lead switching converter innovation and silicon debug, evaluate design results, and guide physical design progress. Partner with verification, systems, applications, validation, product engineering, and test teams, while leading technical discussions with customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Design analog chip/sub-section/IP with ownership from definition through release to manufacturing.
•Direct and guide technical design activities for electronic parts, components, and integrated circuits.
•Provide design guidance to team members, develop schedules, and monitor project progress.
•Evaluate intermediate/final results during design and silicon evaluation to meet technical objectives.
•Collaborate with physical designers and other engineering teams, and lead customer/field discussions to support designs and troubleshoot issues as required.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
•5+ years of analog circuit design experience.
•Experience designing switching DCDC regulators (e.g., multi-phase buck, boost, and buck-boost converters).
•Solid understanding of control architectures (DCS/AOT/COT, peak/valley/average current mode).
•Experience with schematic generation and simulation on modern CAD tools (Cadence tool set).
