Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with IP and SoC architects to develop and optimize leading edge processors.
  • •Characterize workloads, project performance, and debug performance issues.
  • •Run performance simulations and analyze results to evaluate architectural features.
  • •Analyze competition and identify areas for future improvement.
  • •Develop performance evaluation tools and methodologies, including application tracing enhancements and post-silicon debug/tuning.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 112,000 - 192,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Passion for leading edge SoC architecture, design, and verification, and strong collaboration with architects and engineers across sites.
  • •Experience analyzing and optimizing computing systems for performance using system simulation and performance evaluation methods.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for characterizing workloads, projecting performance, and debugging performance issues.
  • •Strong experience with computing software concepts including operating systems, hypervisors, compilers, drivers, and workloads.
  • •Proficient in C/C++ programming and software engineering concepts; Bachelors, Master’s, or PhD in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science (computer architecture emphasis preferred).
