Job Summary

Own day-to-day operational risk and issues management for Wise US Inc and Wise Canada. Coordinate monthly issues workflows in AuditBoard/Optro, ensure data quality, and support risk acceptances and issue closure. Gather KRIs, issues, incidents, and operational loss data to produce clear quarterly Risk Committee and Board reporting narratives. Partner with Product, Compliance, and business teams on risk assessments, control mapping, and KRI implementation, using strong analytics to reduce manual work.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate the monthly issues management process, including obtaining status updates, maintaining data quality, and ensuring issue records meet documentation standards.
•Support first-line teams in documenting issues and entering them into AuditBoard/Optro, including guidance on required fields and remediation evidence.
•Analyze operational loss, incident, and issue data to identify trends, root causes, emerging risks, and potential control weaknesses for quarterly reporting.
•Compile and maintain Issues Forum and quarterly Operational Risk assessment materials by gathering KRIs, stakeholder narratives, and supporting governance materials.
•Support key risk initiatives including new product risk assessments, control mapping, KRI implementation, and ad-hoc risk projects.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 112,500 - 152,500 annually

Key Requirements

•2-4+ years in operational risk, risk assessments, incident/issues management, or operational controls.
•Strong analytical/data skills, including pulling data from multiple systems and synthesizing it into actionable insights.
•Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and ability to spot trends and ask follow-up questions.
•Understanding of operational risk fundamentals (incidents, issues, controls, risk ratings, KRIs) and related risk frameworks.
•Strong communication to prepare executive-level written reporting and coordinate across stakeholders.
