Key Responsibilities

  • •Take ownership of Bitwarden Gov cloud infrastructure with emphasis on security, reliability, and quality.
  • •Evaluate infrastructure regularly and recommend improvements for reliability, security, availability, scalability, and cost management.
  • •Implement SRE tools, monitoring, early-warning/alert systems, and observability across Bitwarden Gov cloud environments.
  • •Respond to infrastructure outages and contribute to 24x7 support strategy (on-call rotation with weekend shifts).
  • •Design and operate infrastructure at scale, including incident management/escalation processes and ongoing vulnerability management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of experience with FedRAMP (Moderate/High levels), including continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
  • •Production experience with incident response and on-call rotations.
  • •Strong knowledge of cloud networking and traffic management (CNI, Istio).
  • •Demonstrable production Kubernetes experience (Managed Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl, kOps, etc.).
  • •Competency with at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Python, Go) and cloud deployment/automation tools/methodologies (e.g., GitOps, Terraform, Pulumi).
