Key Responsibilities

  • •Initiate, manage, and lead projects through RIBA Design Stages 0–4, including delivering handover to the Delivery Team for construction (RIBA Stage 5 support).
  • •Prepare project budgets, briefs, scopes of services, and programs for consultant RFP tenders; guide and manage tender processes and consultant team selection.
  • •Provide day-to-day management, guidance, instruction, and leadership to awarded consultants to meet client time, quality, and budget objectives.
  • •Review design deliverables for completeness, coordination, adherence to scope, and compliance with authority requirements; manage queries and approvals with clients and government authorities.
  • •Support post-contract design delivery by acting as design ambassador/guardian, handling deviations for decision, and administering risk/change, value engineering, and reporting activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Design Management.
  • •Preferably a chartered professional member of a recognized body (RIBA, RICS, ICE, etc.).
  • •PMP is an added advantage.
  • •12–15 years of experience in design management, including at least 5 years’ experience in UAE.
  • •Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and strong knowledge of architectural design, building codes, and tender procurement.
