Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Simple Signing Service (3S) for Israel during local hours: triage, debug, resolve, and escalate with context to wider teams.
  • •Review and deploy production fixes and feed root causes back into the platform to prevent repeat failures.
  • •Engineer signing and key generation onboarding flows for Networking and other Israel-based teams, making onboarding fast.
  • •Drive AI-enabled automated self-service (3S Copilot, MCP integrations, runbooks, and docs) so the region can unblock itself without waiting across time zones.
  • •Serve as the regional voice in planning by integrating release calendars and bring-up achievements into the roadmap; partner with US/India and Israel Networking DevOps/release management, and help hire and mentor as the team grows.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •10+ years building and operating production software with real ownership of a service, including on-call incident resolution under release pressure.
  • •Hands-on engineering in Python, Java, Go (or similar), plus AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
  • •Solid understanding of applied cryptography (PKI, digital signatures, key management) or ability to quickly go deep in an unfamiliar technical domain.
  • •Clear communication in English and judgment to keep customers advised during an incident.
