  • •Own feature delivery for a product area by leading engineers shipping new functionality and iterating existing product surfaces to improve customer experience and business value.
  • •Plan and execute roadmaps by translating product strategy into technical plans, milestones, success metrics, and managing scope, risk, and timelines.
  • •Provide technical leadership and pragmatic architecture for product-layer services and workflows to ensure scalability, performance, and platform consistency.
  • •Build and grow the team by hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers, setting expectations, providing feedback, and creating an ownership/speed/craft culture.
  • •Improve quality and reliability through automated testing, release safety, observability, regression prevention, and ensuring on-call health for team services.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years managing a team of high-performance software engineers, including roadmap delivery, hiring/firing, performance, and team culture ownership.
  • •6+ years as a software engineer building and shipping products used by millions of users with clear personal impact.
  • •Strong systems-level technical depth in Linux systems internals and/or cloud systems engineering, ideally building platform capabilities (orchestration, control planes, distributed services, networking, storage layers).
  • •Backend or full-stack proficiency; comfortable reviewing/contributing to modern stacks with Go, Python, and/or TypeScript preferred.
  • •Solid understanding of distributed/cloud-native architecture including microservices, APIs, eventing, data stores, and service-to-service communication patterns.
