Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare spacecraft hardware, components, and test articles for environmental testing.
  • •Install and verify sensors and instrumentation (e.g., accelerometers, thermocouples) and set up data acquisition systems and cabling.
  • •Prepare and configure test facilities, chambers, and vibration systems according to approved procedures and engineering documentation.
  • •Execute approved environmental test procedures safely while monitoring test conditions and hardware performance.
  • •Record test parameters/results accurately and support pre- and post-test inspections, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and calibration readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in environmental testing, aerospace testing, spacecraft testing, or another high-reliability industry.
  • •Hands-on experience with vibration or shaker testing.
  • •Experience with thermal or thermal vacuum chambers.
  • •Experience installing accelerometers, thermocouples, strain gauges, or other test instrumentation.
  • •Familiarity with data acquisition systems, test monitoring software, and calibration-controlled test documentation.
