Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for MEA legal entities, including GL reconciliations and audit evidence preparation.
  • •Coordinate external audits by managing audit queries and preparing audit schedules to resolve auditor questions.
  • •Oversee payroll accounting and process optimization, including reconciling payroll registers with GL and bank disbursements.
  • •Execute group and local month-end close for MEA entities, including fluctuation analysis, business risk assessments, and tax reviews.
  • •Ensure compliance and audit readiness by maintaining accurate balances, preparing supporting schedules, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and external bookkeepers for statutory accounts preparation.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance (or related).
  • •ACA/ACCA/CPA fully qualified with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • •Independently manage end-to-end GL accounting and statutory reporting for entities in the Middle East and African region.
  • •Knowledge of local statutory and compliance requirements for Russia and Kazakhstan, plus practical understanding of VAT, WHT, and CIT across the GCC.
  • •Fluency in English and Russian, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze complex financial data.
