Maintain and support tooling and equipment on an inkjet manufacturing final assembly line, including repair and preventive maintenance of mechanical, vision, test/inspection, and ink delivery systems. Perform lockout/tagout, support tooling modifications and installation/commissioning of new tooling, and help streamline initiatives to meet quality standards and project timelines. Collaborate with platform architects, engineers, and project managers using structured problem-solving and design-thinking to improve processes, tools, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of tooling and equipment on an inkjet manufacturing final assembly line.
•Repair and conduct preventive maintenance for components including motor drivers, conveyor systems, vision systems, cylinders, and online test/inspection equipment.
•Execute lockout/tagout procedures and work with approved cleaning chemicals.
•Support modification of existing tooling and installation/commissioning of new tooling for the assembly line.
•Streamline initiatives, improve processes/tools/documentation, and collaborate with platform architects, engineers, and project managers using design reviews and design thinking.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (GED/higher secondary) or comparable work experience with demonstrated competence.
•Typically 6–8 years of related work experience, preferably in product design or a related field.
•Experience with tooling and equipment maintenance and support in a manufacturing environment.
•Ability to perform design work and design reviews that meet specified quality standards and timelines.
•Preferred: AutoCAD certification.
