Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate construction activities to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • •Work with appointed contractors and subcontractors on pre-commissioning/commissioning activities and support Construction Manager and Project Management teams.
  • •Own preparation of Construction Work Packs including engineering interfaces, as required.
  • •Supervise construction work across small projects or a subset/discipline area on moderate-sized projects, and execute work in line with contract and company operating policies.
  • •Monitor progress and report daily surveillance/progress against the plan, while ensuring safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities (including toolbox meetings and inspections) are communicated and implemented.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant field construction expertise gained through post-qualification experience or a recognised trade discipline background with extensive hands-on experience.
  • •Broad and deep technical knowledge of the construction discipline and associated processes.
  • •Ability to identify delivery risks and build mitigation/contingency plans.
  • •Substantial experience interpreting discipline documentation and understanding technical specifications, codes, and standards.
  • •Minimum qualifications including SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, and CCNSG (vocational qualification such as NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management is an advantage).
