Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute comprehensive test plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • •Define and assess prototype requirements, evaluate prototype manufacturing processes, and lead isolation valve lab development.
  • •Design, develop, operate, and maintain complex test equipment and automated data acquisition systems, and build custom test systems using NI hardware and electromechanical components.
  • •Analyze experimental results and prepare clear engineering reports with conclusions and recommendations.
  • •Interpret industry standards for HPBV testing, provide technical input for product concept design and testing, and drive lab efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement while mentoring engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven competency with data acquisition systems and instrumentation for mechanical systems.
  • •Experience designing and executing tests and evaluating experimental results, including producing engineering reports.
  • •Background in machine design, material selection, and manufacturing methods, including CAD experience (Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks).
  • •Hands-on experience with pressure-retaining materials, material coatings, and wear mechanisms.
  • •Design/certification standards experience (e.g., EN 12516, ASME, API 609, AWWA, ISO15848, API 607, TSx, SIL) and new product verification tools (e.g., 6σ, GD&T, DFMEA, QFD, DFM/A).
