Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out delegated tasks on counter-fraud files, including procedural drafting, investigations, and evidential reviews.
  • •Liaise with appropriate parties (including policyholders and witnesses) to support agreed investigation strategy and resolution outcomes.
  • •Ensure compliance with court timetables and SRA Standards & Regulations, and maintain accurate case management systems from opening to closure.
  • •Support client excellence by working in line with agreed client guidelines and achieving timely, compliant progression of cases.
  • •Assist the File Handler as needed with strategic reviews and undertake individual resolution-focused actions, including settlement documentation and third-party costs negotiation.

Key Requirements

  • •Established interest in law through further education (e.g., LPC or ILEX) or experience in a process-driven legal environment.
  • •Experience drafting court documents and understanding of legal processes.
  • •Good telephone and communication skills with people at all levels inside and outside the business.
  • •Ability to organise and prioritise tasks, and remain calm under pressure while re-prioritising effectively.
  • •Good literacy and IT skills, with the ability to analyse evidence.
