Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to the job site in a safe manner.
  • •Comply with Department of Transportation requirements, including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
  • •Operate the truck safely and professionally on highways, roads, in the yard area, and at various job sites to deliver materials.
  • •Inspect the truck at the start of each workday and complete the Driver Check-off Sheet to confirm systems function properly.
  • •Follow instructions, use maps/directions, maneuver the truck for delivery, and perform basic maintenance including spraying/cleaning after loads to prevent concrete buildup in the mixer.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Must possess and maintain a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
