Key Responsibilities

  • •Build backend infrastructure for the Databricks platform at scale.
  • •Support growth by creating foundational infrastructure platforms that operate across multiple geographic regions and cloud providers.
  • •Implement cloud-agnostic infrastructure abstractions to help teams manage and operate services more efficiently.
  • •Develop tools and processes that improve engineering efficiency and developer experience (programming languages, linters, static analysis, IDEs, remote development, automated release pipelines, and test automation).
  • •Contribute across design, development, implementation, and ongoing operations with guidance from senior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.

  • •Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Scala, or Go, with hands-on backend systems experience.
