Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze scope of work from existing conditions, plans, and specifications through all phases of design and construction.
  • •Perform accurate quantity surveys for construction systems and materials.
  • •Obtain labor rates, taxes and insurance requirements for estimate development.
  • •Develop contractor-style construction cost estimates and prepare basis of estimate.
  • •Ensure all estimates are accurate and consider all risk factors.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
  • •12+ years related experience in construction estimating (transit, highway, infrastructure)
  • •12+ years' related experience in architectural/heavy civil/structural/utility elements for infrastructure and transportation projects
  • •Experience developing Conceptual through Bid Documents estimates using Spreadsheet, HCSS Heavy Bid, Sage Timberline or similar
  • •Proficient in On-Screen Takeoff or Bluebeam and MS Office; able to work with minimal supervision
