•Obtain customer approvals, easements, and rights-of-way to prepare contracts, permits, releases, plats, and records.
•Perform field inspections and create material and labor estimates for distribution line construction, rehabilitation, relocation, or maintenance.
•Design projects in accordance with company standards and prepare required plats and drawings.
•Identify and refer opportunities to support implementation of company marketing programs through partnership with marketing functions.
•Accept and handle special requests as assigned, including responsibilities related to emergency call-out and duty supervisor needs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline and 5 years of directly relevant experience.
•Relevant experience including utility distribution line design or construction, GIS mapping, cost estimation/control, surveying, engineering/design, construction, construction inspection, or project management.
•Demonstrated good decision-making, communication, and human relations skills.
•Knowledge of electric and/or gas standards, procedures, and distribution systems preferred.
•Basic mechanical skills.
