Support and assist in the design, analysis, and construction of structural projects within the Power & Energy team, focusing on transmission/substations, renewable energy, and protection systems. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to collect data, perform basic engineering tasks, generate documentation, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across utility and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from sites, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, and other matrices for project development, design, and construction.
•Conduct research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, and permits.
•Provide entry-level engineering functions and technical assistance on design requirements and operating strategies for safety and functionality of systems and infrastructure.
•Verify site characteristics and assist in securing structural soundness from loads and pressures.
•Generate documentation using electronic systems, drawings, 2D/3D illustrations, and site logs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
•1-3 years of relevant post-education experience
•Familiarity with design/build processes and structural/civil construction codes/regulations
•Proficient with discipline-specific design software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, InRoads, Geopak, GeoSlope, ANSYS, STADD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS)
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team
