Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate industrial automation control systems, including PLC, DCS, IO, and industrial communication modules.
  • •Collaborate with Product Owners to derive requirements and build validation/verification plans and estimates for test development.
  • •Develop test strategy and test requirements from product and system specifications across all phases of system test development through production release.
  • •Design optimal test systems and automated test fixtures to ensure adequate test coverage and support improvements in productivity.
  • •Implement system-level automated tests using PLC programming (Ladder/FBD/SFC) and industrial protocols, and communicate technical architecture, risks, and issues to peers and managers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • •5-8 years of experience in industrial automation with domain knowledge in PLCs, DCS, and IO modules.
  • •Experience with industrial communication protocols including MODBUS TCP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, IEC61850, DNP3, and IEC104 (Client/Server or Master/Slave).
  • •Programming skills for test automation using scripting languages such as Python, plus basic experience with C# or C++ for test automation.
  • •Knowledge of industrial controller/HMI software is an added advantage.
